About the investment
SMACC was one of the technologically leading solutions for AI-driven invoice processing: automatic capture of 30+ invoice data fields and line items for faster, more reliable accounting. In 2025 SMACC was acquired via an asset deal by Würzburg-based CrossCommerce GmbH and integrated into its ERP/DMS ecosystem. Mauerkatze invested directly.
