## About the investment

Hypatos was founded in Berlin in 2018 and automates document-based finance processes with deep learning. The company raised a €10M seed round in 2020 from investors including Blackfin Tech, Grazia Equity, UVC Partners and Plug & Play Ventures. Mauerkatze invested early and successfully exited the stake.

## Mauerkatze & Hypatos

Mauerkatze is the angel and venture capital vehicle of Finn Hänsel (known for the Sanity Group exit). We back Hypatos as direct investment with capital, network and operational experience from the Berlin tech and VC ecosystem.
