## About the investment

Cars24 was founded in 2015 by Vikram Chopra, Mehul Agrawal, Gajendra Jangid and Ruchit Agarwal and is one of the world's largest online marketplaces for used cars. In 2020 Cars24 became India's first unicorn in the auto segment. Mauerkatze was an early direct investor — successfully exited.

## Mauerkatze & Cars24

Mauerkatze is the angel and venture capital vehicle of Finn Hänsel (known for the Sanity Group exit). We back Cars24 as direct investment with capital, network and operational experience from the Berlin tech and VC ecosystem.
